This fun and easy-to-make quilt project is composed of 16-inch finished blocks made using basic piecing techniques. If you plan to make this quilt bigger or smaller than the one in the tutorial, just add or decrease the number of blocks to adjust the size.

Will Fat Quarters work for this or do you need ¼ yard cuts of 9” x width of fabric? It’s hard to tell from the cutting instructions. This is a really neat quilt. Super nice for a picnic quilt. Just the right size also for a camping quilt for a pull-out bed in a camper. Can’t wait to try it. Thanks for the free pattern!
Hi Kathy, based on the author’s page the measurements for this quilt use 1/4 yards (skinny quarters – 9″ X full width of fabric).Looking forward to your finished quilt version. Happy quilting
